You can put an INVALID statement in CONFIG.SYS - such
as DEVICE=JUNK

The system will hang if you have PAUSEONERROR=YES

The only problem is that OS/2 does not necessarily process
OCNFIG.SYS in sequential order. It seems to process Device
Driver statements in a (earlier) different order than
the other statements.
